March for Our Lives, the movement for gun reform spearheaded by Parkland, Florida, high school students after 17 people were shot to death at their school last month, will hold rallies across the country Saturday morning. Seattle's march, which was organized by local high school students, will begin with sign-making and voter registration at Cal Anderson Park before kids and families march to KeyArena. More than 10,000 people have RSVP'd for the Seattle march on Facebook. March organizers are asking high school students to bring their IDs so they can register to vote, as well as their discounted Orca cards for cheap transportation. Lyft is also offering discounted rides to march participants—though organizers say you should pick a drop-off point near light rail so as not to clog the march route.

And what exactly are the kids marching for? They have a list of demands. Among them: raising the age to buy a gun in Washington state from 18 to 21, banning the sale of semi-automatic rifles, asking members of Congress to reject donations from the National Rifle Association, and repealing the Dickey Amendment, which prevents federally-funded researchers from studying gun violence.
