The Atlantic is a neighborhood restaurant serving an eclectic menu including avocado toast, a kale-and-romaine Caesar salad, beef tongue French dip, ginger-molasses tofu banh mi, an “old school” burger (shredded iceberg, pink sauce), and a “new school” burger (arugula, Beecher’s cheese). There’s lots of wine, as well as local beers and locally brewed kombucha on tap. It’s owned by Lex Petras, a longtime neighborhood resident who also owns Pioneer Square’s Altstadt. Located across the street from the Central District’s Standard Brewing, The Atlantic is a restaurant in a neighborhood that could use a few more options for dining out.
