"After graduating from college, Katie Parla did what many of us only dream of: she moved to Rome, where she immersed herself in the food and culture of the city. Since then she has built a career writing about the city she loves, through frequent articles in major news outlets, 2 apps about the city, and a cookbook focused exclusively on Roman food. With her new book, Katie branches out, casting her eye and palate to the greater region with a celebration of Food of The Italian South.
