EyeSound is a collaboration between two Danish visual artists, Iben West and Else Ploug Isaksen, and four Icelandic authors, Sigurbjörg Þrastardóttir, Kristín Ómarsdóttir, Hallgrímur Helgason, and Már Guðmundsson. West and Isaksen sent the authors photographs, which they in turn “responded” to, creating a “visual dialogue” between image and text. The words do not explain the photos, and the photos do not explain the words, though your brain will want to see it that way.
