71% of the Earth's surface is covered with water, and our bodies are filled with it. Our health and survival depends on water, and yet our oceans are filled with plastic, our coral reefs are dying, and oil pipelines threaten to poison our rivers. Curated through a community process involving educators, artists, and indigenous communities, We Are the Ocean presents the work of artists who call the Pacific Ocean home. Through objects, installation, poetry, and oral histories, this exhibition engages with the history of climate change while providing a wealth of creative, philosophical, and spiritual insight for the future.
